About(Info)

I'm Kai, and I design games, interactives and immersive experiences.
As an Immersive / Realtime Mixed Reality Designer at OceanX, I make playable work for museum and classroom audiences: walk-up games, interactive documentaries and installations that let people explore ocean science instead of just watching it.
AI is part of how I work every day. I vibecode prototypes with Claude and go from a paper idea to something playable in days. I also bring generative models into the work itself, for narration, AI-generated shots, upscaling, and in-game systems like an answer judge built on the Claude API. I keep trying new workflows, and the ones that hold up become part of how the studio builds.
I came to this through architecture at the National University of Singapore, where I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) and a Master of Architecture (2026). Along the way, out of my own interest, I taught myself Unreal Engine and Blender so I could "gamify" design: simulating how people use space and telling stories through environments. That training still shapes how I design player flow, pacing and space.
What I do
- AI-driven immersive educationTurning ocean science into interactive experiences people explore instead of watch
- Solo, end-to-end ownershipTaking experiences from concept and prototype through production, deployment and launch on my own
- AI-accelerated productionUsing generative AI to cut the time from concept to playable prototype
- Vibecoding and creative codingHands-on building with AI coding tools, from web games to interactive documentaries
- MCP-connected workflowsClaude connected live to the tools I work in, including Blender, Unreal Engine 5, Premiere Pro, PowerPoint, Notion and Outlook, across 3D, editing, presentations and everyday studio work
- Multi-modal generative workflowsImage, video, voice and narration models used in real production
- AI inside the experienceLLM-powered systems such as live answer judging, built through APIs
- Real-time 3D and spatial designUnreal Engine 5, Blender, mixed reality, WebGL
- Workflow discoveryTesting new AI tools and turning the ones that work into repeatable studio pipelines
