Diver is a calm underwater exploration game made for exhibition installations. Players swim a diver through a stylised low-poly ocean, release new life into the water, then ride a giant animal on to the next zone. There are no puzzles, no fail states and almost no words on screen, so visitors can pick it up and pass it on.
Core loop
- 01Explore
Swim freely through canyons, arches, kelp and the open deep. Anything in reach lights up.
- 02Release life
Swim into the glowing ring. Fish and animals flood out and the zone comes alive.
- 03Ride
A giant animal arrives: a humpback whale in the meadow, a humphead wrasse on the reef. Climb on.
- 04Next zone
It carries the player through a gate of light into the next zone.
Two zones
The Seagrass Meadow lies in green shade under rafts of floating sargassum, with light falling through the gaps in beams. Dugongs, turtles and rays move through kelp and rock ranges.
The Coral Reef is an atoll that starts dull and bleached. Releasing life sends colour rolling out from the portal across the reef, and brings in sharks, hammerheads, cuttlefish and sunfish.
Pipeline
Every model starts as a concept image generated in Higgsfield, is turned into 3D with Tripo, then cleaned, colour graded and simplified for the browser. Tens of thousands of fish swim in GPU-driven schools at real school sizes, and every species is a real one, checked against model sheets shared with the OceanX science team.
